HORUS consortium partner, Sophie Alain (Institut National De La Sante Et De La Recherche Medicale/ Centre Hospitalier Universitaire De Limoges/Universite De Limoges), will showcase her team’s latest HORUS research at the 28th Annual Conference of the European Society for Clinical Virology in Porto, bringing fresh insights from the consortium to a leading international virology audience.

Sophie’s team is leading the detection of CMV reactivations and monitoring antiviral resistance. This includes next-generation sequencing (NGS) analyses to identify minority viral strains and specific CMV gene variants that may promote viral replication.
