WP Objectives

  • To constitute a prospective multicentric European cohort of solid organ transplant patients including high#quality clinical, biological and –Omics evaluation in peripheral blood and into the graft from day 0 of transplantation

  • To constitute a prospective multicentric European cohort of solid organ transplant patients including high quality clinical, biological and –Omics evaluation in peripheral blood from day 0 of CMV infection

  • To further explore virus-host interactions, generate new hypothesis, validate in-vitro and in-vivo models and be used for exploring and then validate signature to predict the risk of CMV infection and among CMV infection, the risk of evolving toward a “difficult-to-treat infection.

The data of cohorts will be centralised in a core facility (clinical epidemiology unit of CHUB).
